There is more to you
than what you’ve survived.

Do you ever wonder who you would be if you weren’t always trying to survive?

Maybe you’ve spent years adapting to the people and circumstances around you—being the responsible one, the peacekeeper, the caretaker, or the person who never needs anything.

You may be so accustomed to putting others first that you’ve lost touch with your own wants, needs, feelings, and identity. You might know how to function and keep moving forward, but still feel disconnected, exhausted, or unsure of yourself.

Therapy can offer space to slow down, understand what you’ve been carrying, and begin building a relationship with yourself rooted in safety, compassion, and authenticity.

I'm Chelsea, a licensed clinical social worker based in Houston. I provide online therapy for adults across Texas who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and the lasting impact of difficult experiences.

I work with people who may feel disconnected from themselves, uncertain of who they are, or tired of living in survival mode.

Together, we’ll create space to understand what you’ve been through, reconnect with yourself, and discover what it means to live a life that feels authentically yours.

Do you feel lost, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself?

Are you struggling to feel safe, trust others, or understand what you’re feeling?

Experiences like trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, and depression can shape how you see yourself, your relationships, and the world around you.

Maybe you’ve become skilled at adapting to others, keeping the peace, and putting your own needs aside.

You know how to keep going but constantly carrying the weight of it all can leave you feeling emotionally exhausted and unsure of what you truly want or need.

You’ve learned how to survive.
But you may be wondering: Who am I, really?

My therapy services

Together, we’ll create space to slow down, understand your story, and reconnect with who you are beyond the ways you’ve learned to survive.

Anxiety

When your mind won't stop scanning for the next thing. We'll figure out what sets it off, what keeps it going, and build tools that work when you're in it.

Depression

When everything takes more effort than it should and you don't quite feel like yourself. We'll talk about what's underneath it, push back on the patterns keeping you stuck, and reconnect you with what matters.

Trauma & PTSD

What happened to you shaped how you move through the world. We'll go at your pace toward a steadier sense of safety in your own body and life.

How I work

Therapy that starts with you.

Our sessions are, first and foremost, a conversation. You won't be talked at, judged, or reduced to a diagnosis. We’ll start with what’s bringing you here and make space for your story, your experiences, and what you’re carrying.

Your experiences don’t exist in a vacuum. Who you are and how you move through the world have been shaped by your relationships, your experiences, and the environments you’ve had to navigate. We’ll explore those things with curiosity and compassion, without losing sight of who you are today.

We work at a pace that feels sustainable for you. We’ll build on the strengths and wisdom you already have, develop tools that support you in the present, and make space for you to discover what you need and want for yourself.

You don’t have to have it all figured out. You can come as you are, knowing you’ll be met with compassion, curiosity, and respect.

I want you to have a sense of who I am as a person, because you’re choosing a person, and not just booking a service.

I'm a native Houstonian, a fourth-generation Texan, and Afro-Latina. I hold a BSW and an MSW from Baylor University, and I've been a licensed social worker in Texas since 2016 - a decade of clinical work across victim services, foster care, disaster and humanitarian relief, and mental health.
